Pluto is no longer a Planet!

Pluto, as soon as we hear this, the famous cartoon character in Mickey Mouse series comes in front of our eyes.
On Thursday (24th August 28, 2006) the world's top astronomers voted in favor to strip the planet status of Pluto, the furthest and the last planet in our Solar system. The US astronomer Clyde Tombaugh identified it in 1930. Pluto which has it's own moon called Charon, came under lot of controversies from the date it discovered. The size of the planet estimated around 2274 km in diameter, but recent experiments claims that it's much smaller than actual size.
Also its orbit is highly eccentric. At times it is closer to the Sun than Neptune (as it was from January 1979 thru February 11 1999). Pluto rotates in the opposite direction from most of the other planets. This made suspicious among the astronomers and they start thinking of whether Pluto is part of our solar system. Now Xena, the latest discovery and accepted as 10th Planet by the astronomers, is set to take over the 7 decades occupation of Pluto as a ninth planet in our Solar System.
One point troubled me from then when I saw this news, how this is going to affect the spiritual believe of Hindus, who worships this nine planets on their daily life and have a strong faith that these nine planets performing their each and every move. The coming days may reveal this!
