A Indian dream!
It was an busy afternoon and the traffic was heavy. We are on the way for Lunch, and our car stopped at one of the busy signal. It was an usual sight of Indian roads as few beggars started knocking your window and few strangers trying to sell their goodies. And there she appeared! She must be thirteen, dirty clothes and so lean (obviosly). Her face is blackish (since her face absorb more carbon-di-oxide) and swelled. And there you go! she started doing acrobatic moves with a available little space between vehicles. She was doing summersault as per the beat just like that. After she finished it was an time to collect money from the people as a appreciation for her hard work.
As our car passed a signal we were just discussing about her. One of my friend raised valid point, "Why can't India find a people like them, who born with a talents". True! If they were given proper training and support, who knows they might win another gold for India in Olympics. As I watched that girl I remembered the young Chinese, Romanian and US girls doing wonder in in Gymnastic event at Olympics. Why India never participates in that event? Are we short of talents? Or our sports ministry not bothers about this? So many questions raised on me. When India won its first gold the whole nation celebrated, everyone so excited, the nation just talked about that. Just one gold is enough for a million people?
I may be wrong in my view, and you may think I am blabbering for no reason. Let it be, but why can't we just think about it? Nothing wrong about dreaming and it's my dream too one-day India top the list in medal position in Olympics. And I just want hear our national anthem being played each and every event and at the closing ceremony.
